When Eeteuk crawled into Kangin's bed late one night, Kangin didn't have the heart to push him out.
When Eeteuk jumped on Kangin, wrapped his arms around his neck, and kissed him, Kangin kissed him back because he didn't want to hurt his feelings.
And when Eeteuk pressed himself against Kangin, ran his hand through Kangin's hair lovingly, and whispered, "I love you," Kangin said, "I love you too," without even thinking about it.
The happiness in Eeteuk's eyes flooded Kangin with guilt.
"Eeteuk, wait," he said, pushing the older boy away gently. "I lied."
Eeteuk's happy face vanished instantly, and he turned and looked away. "Eeteuk..." Kangin whispered, reaching for his hand. Eeteuk turned and looked at Kangin as a tear ran down his cheek. "I know."
"I wish I loved you like that, I really do." Eeteuk stood up, shaking his head. "Don't worry about it, Kangin, it's okay, really." He turned and walked away, and Kangin just watched him go.
